President’s Note – NWCC
Season 2026
Cricket brings people together, and as a club we’ve worked tirelessly behind the scenes every year to make that happen.
We’re proud of our progress with our 1st Team competing in Division 2 and our 2nd Team in Division 7 following promotion last season. This year, we’re especially excited to welcome our first women’s and girls’ team, the NWCC Wildcats, while continuing to build a strong foundation at the junior level.
Now more than ever, we need the support of our local community. We call on residents and local businesses to stand with us to support our existence and invest in our young people at a time when connections within communities and local cricket need all of us.
On behalf of the club, I would like to extend our sincere thanks to all our funders and supporters, especially Munchies, Space, the local council, Sheffield Town Trust, the ECB, and the Yorkshire Cricket Foundation. Your support makes everything we do possible, from developing young players to keeping our club at the heart of the community.
Finally, I’d like to wish all our teams, captains, and our incredible volunteers the very best for the season ahead.
